Jeff Zwart, who set a new record last year for in the 2WD Time Attack class at the annual Pikes Peak hillclimb, broke his own record at this year’s event.
Last year, Zwart clocked a time of 11:31,095 in a Porsche 911 GT3 Cup race car, but this year he drove a standard production Porsche 911 GT2 RS road car and slashed his own record by 24 seconds to 11:07,869.
The video doesn’t only include footage of him racing up the mountain, but also from the very start of his extensive road trip in one of Porsche’s most extreme road cars to date.
Have a look here at Rhys Millen’s run up the hill.
