This footage from the United States shows a battered 1983 Toyota bakkie (technically a third-generation Hilux, but simply called the “Toyota Pickup” in the US) pulling off some serious rock-crawling moves.
The clip, filmed at what the uploader of the video describes as a “challenging” trail in Penrose, Colorado, shows the tricked-out pickup complete a daunting off-road obstacle despite at one point seemingly resting on its side.
When the driver finds himself in a spot of bother (with the vehicle at such an extreme angle that items are falling from the cabin and fuel gushing either from the filler cap or the jerry can alongside it), he simply hits the loud pedal and the battered bakkie hauls itself to safety.
