Ford South Africa has released an “exclusive” behind-the-scenes look into how the new-generation Ranger is produced at its Silverton manufacturing plant in Pretoria. In the video, the local arm of the Blue Oval brand highlights the “cutting-edge” technologies used to build its popular pick-up, while showcasing the company’s “meticulous” focus on the on the quality of the assembly process. According to Ford SA, the video gives its loyal fans a deeper appreciation for the level of expertise and dedication behind the creation of every Ranger.

As a reminder, thanks to a major investment into the facility in 2022, production capacity at the facility has significantly increased, allowing the automaker to build as many as 200 000 Rangers at the Silverton plant every year, with 720 models assembled per day. That’s one vehicle every two minutes.
