The Thar Roxx retains the essence of the original Thar while incorporating several notable changes. At the front, it features new LED headlamps, flanked by C-shaped DRLs, a redesigned bumper, and a distinctive grille with vertical rectangular elements. The rear of the SUV sports a spare wheel mounted on the back, complemented by a removable black roof section, giving it a rugged yet stylish appearance. The Thar Roxx rides on 18-inch wheels and comes in three colour options: white, black, and red.
Inside, the Thar Roxx mirrors the design of the Thar three-door model, but adds a few enhancements. The cabin includes circular air-con vents, set against a leatherette dashboard, a glovebox, and a familiar three-spoke steering wheel. The seats are height-adjustable, and rear passengers benefit from dedicated air-con vents, improving overall comfort.

The Thar Roxx offers the same engine choices as the Thar 3-door: a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 120 kW and 330 N.m of torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 113 kW and 330 N.m of torque. Both engines can be paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. Additionally, the Thar Roxx is available with both 4×4 and 4×2 drivetrains.
In India, the five-door Thar Roxx starts at INR 12.99 lakh (approximately R329 000) for the entry-level MX1 petrol variant and INR 13.99 lakh (approximately R355 000) for the entry-level diesel variant.
