We’ve previously reported on the likelihood of the introduction of an Audi Q1, the smallest SUV yet from the Four Rings. Now we have the very first spy shots of the yet-to-be launched model.
One cannot discern the finer details from this well-disguised test car, but we can tell that the dimensions are diminutive placing it in line with the likes of Nissan’s Juke and Mini Countryman.
The Q1 is said to be based on the VW Group’s scalable MQB architecture – the same plaform that underpins the A3 and Golf 7. Slotting in below the Q3 the Q1 is due for launch next year, as early as the Geneva Motor Show that takes place in March.
