You’d think there would be little dissidence when it came to the appeal of the Maserati GranTurismo…a 298 kW Ferrari-derived V8 clothed in some of the most sumptuous sheet metal in the business would be most people’s idea of motoring nirvana, but some people always want more, so to appease Megalomaniac and Premier League footballer alike, the Modena firm is preparing to unveil the powered-up GranTurismo S.
Few can do the achingly beautiful 2+2 coupé thing as well as Maserati and the newly launched Gran Turismo is no exception. If you’ve got R 1,7 million burning a hole in your pocket and a year or so of waiting list to kill, why not?
