Earlier this week we reported on Subaru’s new global platform which will make its debut on the new Impreza. Now Subaru has released the first image of this new car which will be fully unveiled on 23 March at the New York Auto Show.
There is not a lot we can gather from this single image, except that the front section of the car features more pronounced and sharper angles than the current generation. According to Subaru, the Impreza has been completely redesigned. I
t will feature new in-car technology, the cabin will be more spacious and it will continue to offer the company’s Symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive technology. The Impreza will also be available in both hatchback and sedan derivatives.
We strongly suspect the local introduction to take place around the fourth quarter of this year.
