Produced between 1974 and 1990, Lamborghini’s Countach is one of the most iconic and recognised models in the brand’s lifetime. The V12-powered supercar from a bygone era is ingrained within pop culture, from movies to music videos. Characterised by its bold lines and boxy frame, Liberty Walk’s alterations only add to the absurdity of the Countach’s appearance.

Unveiled alongside several equally impressive one-offs at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024 event, the LB Countach is a futuristic Cyber Punk-Esque rendering brought to life. Atop the physique of a Lamborghini Countach is a Liberty Walk body kit. This kit is comprised of a front bumper, front diffuser, racing canards, side skirts accompanied by side diffusers, a rear diffuser, and a rear wing that almost eclipses the width of the entire car. Many of the kit’s components are comprised of fibreglass-reinforced polymer material. Furthermore, components like the side diffusers are comprised of dry carbon.
The kit also includes a roof intake and, most notably, the wide fenders that engulf the large Toyo tyres and multi-spoke Rohana wheels. Is the Countach another abomination to the motoring world or has LB done the icon justice?
