Following a teaser campaign, Suzuki has officially whipped the wraps off the Jimny Rhino 5-door special edition.

Unveiled in Australia, the new Suzuki Jimny Rhino is based on the five-door version of the current, fourth-generation Jimny. Billed as a collectable model, the special edition features a raft of Rhino-specific exterior and interior design elements.
Starting with the exterior, the special-edition Jimny 5-door gains a Rhino design pack, which includes bespoke ‘Rhino’ badging and decals, a hexagonal front grille with “Suzuki” lettering, chrome garnish for the bumper and side skirts – the latter incorporating lamps to illuminate the ground when opening the front doors – and a set of unique 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with a Shuriken-inspired design. The Jimny Rhino is exclusively available with Kinetic Yellow paintwork.
Stepping inside, the interior door handles and grab handle sited on the dash feature leather wrapping, replete with a Rhino logo and Kinetic Yellow contrast stitching. A model-specific plaque can be found below the grab handle. The panel surrounding the automatic transmission’s gear lever gains a chrome finish. Customisable footwell lighting offering up to eight colour options, including Kinetic Yellow, and Jimny-branded rubber floor mats are also present. The Jimny Rhino also gains upgraded speakers.
In addition to the exterior and interior upgrades, the package also includes a Rhino Go Pack. The latter comprises several accessories, such as a Rhino-branded key chain, metal key presentation box, water bottle, thermos tumbler, cooler box, bucket hat, blanket, and portable Bluetooth speaker and lantern.
As a reminder, the fourth-generation Jimny, which has received a range of updates in South Africa, exclusively employs Suzuki’s familiar (K15B) 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, tuned to produce 75 kW and 130 N.m of torque. Power is delivered to the road via a part-time 4×4 drivetrain – the latter paired with either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
The new Jimny Rhino special edition remains unconfirmed for our market. However, locally, the Jimny is available with a wide selection of personalisation options.
