The Toyota Land Cruiser 79 70th Anniversary has been introduced to the local line-up to celebrate the longevity of this historic model. The commemorative trim brings with it a number of unique trimmings both inside and out.
Made with adventuring in mind, the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 70th Anniversary, available as a single-cab for R889 700 and double-cab for R943 100, has been kitted-out with hard-wearing canvas seat covers with personalized embroidery that are removable and washable. This vehicle also pays homage to the Land Cruiser heritage with a new mesh-front grille with Toyota lettering.
Further additions to the cabin include a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, electric windows, air conditioner, front bottle holders and a lockable glove box. Externally, the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 70th Anniversary adopts a set of fog lamps, alloy wheels and chrome finishes on the grille and door handles, aluminium side steps and aforementioned front fog lamps.
Both Toyota Land Cruiser 79 70th Anniversary models are powered by the Japanese manufacturer’s turbodiesel 4,5-litre V8 mill that delivers 151 kW and 430 N.m of torque to a 4×4 system via a five-speed manual gearbox.
