The Porsche 997 enjoys one last hurrah before handing over the reins
Watch the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS devour some stunning mountain roads during a CAR magazine shoot. A road test of Porsche’s 997 swansong will appear in an upcoming issue of CAR magazine.
Alongside the GT3 RS 4,0 that was uncovered a few weeks ago, the company will offer another GTS model, this time with four-wheel drive. The Carrera 4 GTS keeps the same 3,8-litre flat-six engine, however. It delivers 300 kW and 420 N.m of torque, enough to power it from standstill to 100 km/h in 4,6 seconds. The heavier cabriolet version takes 0,2 seconds longer to reach the same speed.
