While I was recently at the wheel of Lexus’s middle-of-the-range GS350, I was reminded of the classic Sixties film My Fair Lady on more than a few occasions.

Lexus has unveiled the new-generation Lexus GS at the Johannesburg International Motor Show (JIMS). The company has also confirmed that it would launch a further two hybrid models in 2012. This specific model is powered by a 3,5-litre V6 engine developing 233 kW and which helps the car reach 100 km/h from standstill in 6,3 seconds.
