Although its first product was the Alpina A1/3 in 1975, the German tuner has been operational since 1965 where it tuned BMWs for private customers. Since then, it has come out with a number of road and track products that are adored by many.
WELT Documentary has given us a 50 minute in-depth look at the history of this iconic brand and how it rose to success by adapting BMW’s products to customers who desired a bit more performance and presence.
The documentary also dives into what goes into making an Alpina and how the engineers and designers work together to develop an end product that separates itself from the car BMW provides to them.
