Equipped with a selection of bespoke off-road gear – the latter including snow tracks – for extreme winter exploration, Toyota has revealed the Land Cruiser Prado Snowhunter Concept at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, US.Â

Reimagining the Japanese automaker’s rugged TNGA-F body-on-frame platform for extreme winter travel, Toyota’s US arm has handed the Land Cruiser Prado the ‘Snowhunter’ treatment. The Land Cruiser Prado Snowhunter Concept was showcased alongside similarly modified versions of the Tundra, Tacoma, 4Runner, and Sequoia at the 2026 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, US. Designed by CALTY Design Research in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the five-strong lineup shares a distinct visual identity, featuring such items as bespoke ‘Snowhunter’ camouflage, gloss-black accents, and custom badging. Rigid auxiliary lighting and suspension lift components from Toyota Genuine Parts and TRD are also present. However, perhaps the most noteworthy item comes in the shape of snow tracks.

Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Snowhunter Concept
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Snowhunter Concept builds directly on the nameplate’s global reputation for unstoppable exploration. This interpretation delivers a winter-focused vision of its off-road capability. Toyota builds the Snowhunter Concept to tackle intense snow conditions by combining heavy-duty chassis protection with dedicated winter equipment. The design study features Toyota Genuine rock rails and robust skid plates to safeguard key underbody components against hidden rocks and ice obstacles. These refinements are engineered to keep the SUV moving when severe weather presents itself. Cargo management is tailored for extended excursions. A heavy-duty Prins-u roof rack equipped with modular accessory panels holds a specialised Thule SnowPack ski rack, ensuring quick access to winter sports gear. Ground-clearing snow tracks allow the Land Cruiser Prado Snowhunter Concept to clear deep-snow travel.
Toyota Snowhunter concepts show extreme winter modifications
Engineered as special prototype projects, each Snowhunter Concept was built to highlight creative aftermarket customisation possibilities. The concepts feature custom parts and accessories not available through official Toyota dealerships. Incorporating these experimental modifications will void factory vehicle warranties. Obviously, they alter overall safety and driving dynamics, thus restricting street legality on public roads.
Despite its prototype status, this concept intends to highlight Toyota’s confidence in the Land Cruiser Prado platform. The Aichi brand aims to showcase how the TNGA-F architecture can be adapted to tackle some of the most challenging winter environments.
